Examples of my work

Table Luminaries are made of solid cherry finished in polyurethane for a long lasting and durable finish. As the wood naturally ages, it will take on the beautiful rich cherry color. No chemical aging chemicals have been used as this could cause unexpected color changes later.

Spindle Lamps are created from early 20th century milled furniture parts found in an old shed in South Carolina. The original finish has been preserved or repaired. Woods vary and some of the spindles are glue-ups of different woods. The Shades are hand crafted and lamp parts are of the highest quality.

Photo Luminaries offer a unique way to enjoy special photos. The frames are hand-crafted of solid walnut. Enjoy our scenic photos or selected fabric or allow us to transfer your photos to a truly custom made shade.

Heron Floor Lamps are custom designed and crafted. The stalk is made of solid cherry which will, in time, take on the beautiful rich cherry color. The shades are crafted with back lit copper cutouts to offer a truly unique look reminiscent of the arts and crafts movement but with a Southern Maryland flair.

Coffee Tables are custom designed in a modified mission style of beautiful ash. Tables are finished with durable polyurethane to protect the surface from all but the roughest treatment.

Pine Buckets are hand-crafted and finished. Use as a kindling container, magazine holder, or planter.

Treasure Chests are hand-crafted from pine and finished with polyurethane for a durable surface. Perfect for a child's special place to keep treasures or for storing games or toys. Treasure chests can be custom made with a child's initials on it.

Trinket Boxes are hand-crafted from cherry and walnut to hold special treasures. Finished with durable polyurethane for a hand-rubbed look.

Candle Boxes were a mainstay in early American homes to hold candles at the ready. The boxes are hand-crafted from cherry or walnut and finished with durable polyurethane and hold a supply of 10 inch taper candles.

Stools have been in use for thousands of years. This stool is modeled after a stool which was used by an architect for 30 years at a drafting table.
